A. If a building, structure or object that is a landmark, is on a landmark site, or is within a historic district or a cultural landscape district, has been lawfully removed or demolished, the owner may apply to the council for a revocation of the designation.

B. The town council may revoke a landmark, landmark site, historic district or cultural landscape district designation if, after following the applicable procedures prescribed by subsection 9-11-3B of this chapter, it determines that the landmark, landmark site, historic district or cultural landscape district no longer meets the applicable designation standards of section 9-11-4 of this chapter.
