Community Entrances: The community entrances, shown on the map of land use districts as districts 4, 11, 25, and 29, are important to the community and every effort should be made to enhance their appearance.

Individual Sites: Individual sites containing archeological value, or sites containing rare flora or fauna, or sites of wildlife habitat, or sites in close proximity to major public facilities are recognized as special areas. Compatibility of use, intensity, architecture, desired character and function, and the respect of special values and site limitations are of particular importance.

Cucumber Gulch Overlay Protection District: Within the Cucumber Gulch overlay protection district and the protective management area, as defined in the land use guidelines:
