A. It is unlawful for any person other than a police officer of the town to wear the insignia of office of a police officer of the town or any other insignia of office like or similar to or a colorable imitation of that adopted and worn by the police of the town.

B. It shall be unlawful for any person to falsely represent himself to be a peace officer or attempt to impersonate any peace officer or, without authority, perform any official act therein on behalf of an officer. A person shall be considered a "peace officer" as that term is defined in section 18-1-901(l)(I) through (V), Colorado Revised Statutes. (Ord. 13, Series 1981)
