The adoption of this chapter shall not create any duty on the part of the Town of Breckenridge, the Town of Breckenridge police department, or any officer, employee or agent thereof, to respond to any alarm dispatch request. No person shall have any civil liability remedy against the Town of Breckenridge, the Town of Breckenridge police department, or any officer, employee or agent thereof, for any claim for monetary damages or other civil relief arising out of or in any way connected to the adoption, enforcement or nonenforcement of this chapter, or the failure of the Town of Breckenridge, the Town of Breckenridge police department, or any officer, employee or agent thereof, to respond to any alarm dispatch request. Nothing in this chapter shall ever be interpreted or construed to create any liability on the part of the Town of Breckenridge, the Town of Breckenridge police department, or any officer, employee or agent thereof, or to waive any of the immunities, limitations on liability or other provisions of the Colorado governmental immunity act, section 24-10-101 et seq., Colorado Revised Statutes, as amended from time to time, or any other immunities or limitations on liability otherwise available to the Town of Breckenridge, the Town of Breckenridge police department, or any officer, employee or agent thereof under applicable law.
