A. In order to initiate a central register of sales and use tax ordinances for municipalities that administer local sales tax collection, the finance director shall file with the Colorado Municipal League prior to the effective date of the ordinance codified in this section a copy of the town sales tax ordinance reflecting all provisions in effect on the effective date of the ordinance codified in this section.

B. In order to keep current the central register of sales and use tax ordinances for municipalities that administer local sales tax collection, the finance director shall file with the Colorado Municipal League prior to the effective date of any amendment a copy of each sales tax ordinance amendment enacted by the town.

Failure of the town to file such ordinance or ordinance amendment pursuant to this section shall not invalidate any provision of the sales and use tax ordinance or any amendment thereto. (Ord. 30, Series 2021)
