Each member of the commission, except a member of the commission who is also a member of the town council, shall receive compensation for serving on the commission at the rate of two thousand four hundred dollars ($2,400.00) annually, payable at the rate of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per month. The member of the commission who is also a member of the town council shall not receive any additional compensation for serving on the commission. Any member of the commission who fails to attend a majority of the meetings of the commission in a given month shall forfeit his entitlement to compensation for such month. All members of the commission shall be reimbursed for actual and necessary out of pocket expenses incurred in the performance of their duties. (Ord. 2, Series 1997)
