The Board shall have the power to administer oaths and issue subpoenas to require the presence of persons and the production of papers, books, and records necessary to the determination of any hearing which the Board is authorized to conduct. It shall be unlawful and a violation of this Code for any person to fail to comply with any subpoena issued by the Board in the proper conduct of its hearings, and upon conviction for such violation the offender shall be punished as provided in title 1, chapter 4 of this Code. A subpoena shall be served in the same manner as a subpoena issued by the District Court of the State. (Ord. 18, Series 2017)
