The purpose of this chapter is to protect the town from contaminants or pollutants that could enter the town's water system by backflow from an owner's water supply system through the service connection. This chapter is enacted to comply with regulation no. 11 - Colorado primary drinking water regulations issued by the Colorado department of public health and environment, and found at 5 CCR 1002-11.
