It shall be unlawful for any person not playing golf pursuant to the registration and payment of fees or taking lessons from the golf pro to frequent, trespass, camp, picnic, walk or ride upon or across any portion of the Breckenridge Golf Club premises or in any way use or occupy the course or facilities of the club other than the parking lot and walkways immediately adjacent to the clubhouse and pro shop. This prohibition shall include hunting for golf balls on any portion of the Breckenridge Golf Club premises. It shall further be unlawful for any person to knowingly permit his or her minor child, pet or livestock to trespass upon the golf course or facilities. Provided, however, the following cases shall be excepted:

A. When a tournament is in progress and the public has been invited, persons over twelve (12) years of age, and minors under twelve (12) years of age, if accompanied by a parent or custodial adult, upon payment of the applicable fees, may follow the progress of any players in the tournament as spectators.

B. Any guest of a player or member of a player's family may accompany the player on the course after having first registered with the pro shop and paid the appropriate fee.

C. Any caddy who is registered by the golf pro as such and whose services have been engaged by a player or any person brought by a player to the course for the purpose of caddying may be upon the course.

D. Authorized town personnel engaged in the operation, care, maintenance and security of the Breckenridge Golf Club premises and facilities.

E. Authorized by special use permit or other town resolution. (Ord. 26, Series 1986)
