Stop signs or other traffic control devices shall be installed at the intersections of all public and private streets (access serving four (4) or more units) and shall meet MUTCD requirements. Stop signs are not required at driveways serving three (3) or less units. All signage shall meet the requirements of titles 7, entitled Vehicles and Traffic, and 11, entitled Public Ways and Property, of this Code and the engineering design standards and construction specifications. No private signage shall be permitted within the right-of-way. No private signage shall be permitted on private property which attempts to direct traffic or parking. Business name signs and address signs may be installed outside of the right-of-way per requirements in title 9 of this Code. (Ord. 3, Series 2022)
