The municipal judge shall assess court costs of thirty five dollars ($35.00) against any defendant who pleads guilty or nolo contendere, or who enters into a plea agreement or who, after trial by the court without a jury, is found guilty of a misdemeanor ordinance violation. Costs of fifty dollars ($50.00) shall be assessed against any defendant who is found guilty of a misdemeanor ordinance violation following a trial by jury. The municipal judge shall assess court costs of thirty five dollars ($35.00) against any defendant who, after a municipal court appearance, admits liability for or is found to have committed a violation of any infraction.
