The mayor, or in his absence the town manager, is authorized to declare a civil emergency, emergency, or local disaster if such person finds that the town, or any part of the town, is suffering from or is in imminent danger of suffering a natural or manmade civil emergency, emergency, or local disaster. If the mayor issues the declaration, the town manager is authorized and directed to implement the declaration in accordance with this chapter. (Ord. 25, Series 2012)
