Nothing in this chapter shall be interpreted or construed to affect the validity of any rules or regulations presently existing at the time of the adoption of this chapter; provided, however, that copies of such rules and regulations shall be filed with the town clerk, town attorney and promulgating authority in the manner required by subsection 1-18-3B of this chapter.
