The police chief is designated as the official custodian of each and every article or object of unclaimed property which comes into the custody or control of the town. Any town employee finding an object of unclaimed property shall deliver such property to the custodian for disposition in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. (Ord. 21, Series 2005)
