Except as otherwise provided by ordinance, or in connection with a coordinated election as provided in section 1-12-6 of this chapter or a mail ballot election as provided in section 1-12-8 of this chapter, all Municipal elections shall be held in accordance with the provisions of the Colorado Municipal Election Code of 1965, article 10 of title 31, Colorado Revised Statutes.
