§ 38-30-150. Definitions

As used in articles 30 to 44 (except part 2 of article 41) of this title 38 and part 5 of article 10 of title 12, unless the context otherwise requires:
- "Deed" includes mortgages, leases, releases, and every conveyance or encumbrance under seal.
- "Land" and "real estate" shall be construed as coextensive in meaning with the terms "land", "tenements", and "hereditaments" and as embracing all mining claims and other claims, and chattels real.
